Established in 2017, our diverse and experienced team provides unparalleled knowledge and expertise, whilst maintaining high standards of quality and delivery throughout the value chain in projects we manage. 
 
Our first engagement to develop and execute an international business strategy for a Russian Signalling and Telecommunication Company, we have since grown rapidly, expanding our client base, geographic footprint and service offerings.
Today our broad range of services includes business development, consultancy, project sponsorship, funding and execution, agency and distribution.
 
We now operate globally, supporting clients in the UK, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, Russia & CIS, Latin America, sub-saharan Africa, India and Sri Lanka.

Our Team

Matthew is a founding Director of Uroven and brings an in depth knowledge of the railway signalling industry across multiple disciplines. Before establishing Uroven, Matthew’s career saw him hold senior roles at Bombardier Transportation Rail Control Solutions in Engineering, Commercial Management, Bid Management and Strategy & Product Planning. Matthew also spent several years as a Consultant with Nichols Group, leaders in strategy, programme and project management, working on some of the most challenging and complex programmes and projects in the rail industry.

Shlomo is a founding Director of Uroven and brings an in depth knowledge of international sales. Shlomo’s career has seen him develop business and manage the end-to-end sales process across five continents. Within rail, Shlomo has significant experience developing greenfield turnkey rail projects working from idea conception to modelling, business case generation, financing and realisation.

Allan brings over 25 years of in-depth knowledge and experience working in the UK railway signalling market. Allan’s career has included TRW Automotive, Smiths Industries (Commercial and Military aircraft programmes) and Bombardier Transportation where he was a board member of Bombardier Transportation UK and Infrasig, the Bombardier Joint Venture with Carillion.

Arunjuna has over 40 years technical and project delivery experience in the rail industry. Arunjuna expertise includes; Signalling/Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) in various formats of Moving block/Distance to Go/Fixed block railway operations for Automatic Train Control {Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO)} governed by Computer Based Interlocking (CBI), dispatch and performance managed by Automatic Train Supervisory Systems [ATSS], Platform Screen Doors (PSD) design, in greenfield and brownfield railways. Prior to this, Arujuna has held senior project management roles at Bombardier Systems Rail Control Solutions, Bombardier Systems Division and has worked with Land Transport Authority in Singapore, and Hong Kong MTR, and Queensland Government Railways and re-signalling projects in NSW Australia.

Catherine provides expert support on all aspects of PMO. Before working for Uroven, Catherine’s career was in the Space, Oil and Gas industries.  Catherine has worked on the EXOMars project, and was with Accenture for many years working on large complex projects, such as deploying a global SAP document management system for BPBPme, together with BP Cloud digital transformation.

Project Manager re-signalling project for deploying state-of-the-art control center for management of 40% of London Underground lines. Bid Director for Singapore Metro re-signalling. Deployed enterprise tools to gain control over portfolio of projects globally.

Current focus is to deliver projects, bids and business development for technological companies, particularly in Latin America.

As a dedicated professional he also has in-depth and wide-ranging knowledge of railway systems, railway vehicles, rail technology, control and installation systems. Lars-Ove has held senior roles at Bombardier Rail Control Systems in sales, product and market development, together with senior project and bid management roles at Bombardier Service and Bombardier Transportation.

Mark brings over 12 years of in-depth knowledge and experience working in the Sub Saharan Africa Railway businesses. Mark’s career has included being a Former Commercial Director with Vecturis SA concessions and a former CEO of Madarail, Madagascar, under a World Bank mandate. Mark has extensive contacts with railway infrastructure owners and operators throughout the Cape gauge networks and has worked with various Francophone & Lusophone railway networks within SADC. Prior to this Mark was a Founder Partner of the “RailFOX” digital rail booking platform and has provided rail consultancy services to many governments, DFI’s, Infrastructure funds and private investors throughout the Southern African region and with various railway concessions in South America.

Rakesh Pande brings over 36 years of experience in construction, maintenance, systems engineering and research & development in railway signalling & telecom. Rakesh has managed Signalling and Telecom Rail Engineering projects within both the client and contractor organisations. Rakesh has in-depth knowledge of railway signalling and telecom systems, helping organisations to identify and deploy the appropriate systems and services to meet their operational railways requirements. Rakesh has wide range experience of working in various railway signalling systems such as ERTMS/ETCS systems, CBTC, metro underground projects, in India, UK and Italy.
